Privacy Policy

Last updated October 4, 2026

This policy explains what information The BC(BAes) Podcast (“we,” meaning Jordan and Melina) collects through thebcbaes.com, how we use it, and the choices you have. Questions? Email[email protected].

Please never send client information

Our website is not a place to share information about clients, patients, or anyone you support. Please don’t include names, diagnoses, or other identifying or health details in any form, comment, or email.

What we collect

When you contact us

Our contact, supervision, and sponsorship forms collect only what we need to reply:

  • All forms: your name, email address, your message, and which page you sent it from.
  • General form: optionally, which best describes you (for example, RBT or parent).
  • Supervision form: the state you work in, where you are on your fieldwork path, and whether you currently work in the field.
  • Sponsorship form: your organization, your role, what you’d like to promote, and your goals.

Submissions are saved to a Google Sheet in our Google account and emailed to us through Gmail. If you send a sponsorship inquiry, we automatically email you a confirmation.

When you join our newsletter

Our newsletter signup form is provided by Beehiiv. It collects your email address and any details the form asks for (such as your first name). Beehiiv stores this information and sends our newsletter; its own privacy policy applies. You can unsubscribe from any email at any time.

Analytics (only if you agree)

If you click “Accept analytics,” we use Google Analytics to understand how people use the site, such as which pages and episodes are visited, the type of device, and approximate location. If you choose “No thanks,” Google Analytics does not load. You can change your choice anytime with “Cookie settings” at the bottom of every page. See our Cookie Notice.

Hosting and security

Our site is hosted by Cloudflare, which may process technical information such as your IP address to deliver the site securely and protect it from abuse.

Embedded media and links

  • Episode audio plays from our podcast host when you press play.
  • YouTube videos use YouTube’s privacy-enhanced mode and load only when you press play.
  • TikTok and Instagram posts load only when you choose “Load post.”
  • Links to Spotify, Apple Podcasts, social media, and other sites take you to services with their own privacy policies.

How we use your information

  • To reply to your message, supervision inquiry, or sponsorship inquiry.
  • To send our newsletter, if you signed up.
  • To improve the site, if you accepted analytics.
  • To keep the site secure and prevent spam.

We do not sell your personal information, and we don’t use it for targeted advertising.

Who we share it with

Only the service providers that help us run the site: Google (Sheets, Gmail, and Analytics if you agree), Beehiiv (newsletter), and Cloudflare (hosting). We may also share information if required by law.

How long we keep it

We keep form messages for up to 2 years so we can respond and keep reasonable records, then delete them automatically. You can ask us to delete your information sooner at any time. Newsletter subscriptions last until you unsubscribe.

Your choices and rights

You can ask us to see, correct, or delete the personal information we have about you by emailing[email protected]. Depending on where you live (for example, California), you may have additional rights under local privacy laws. We will not treat you differently for using them.

Children

Our site is meant for adults. It isn’t directed to children under 13, and we don’t knowingly collect their information. Please don’t submit information about children.

Changes to this policy

If we change this policy, we’ll update the date at the top of this page.
